The contract value was increased by € 1,225,000.00. mod-cir The contract has been consumed significantly more quickly than expected for the following two reasons: • unexpectedly high inflation rates; • legislative and regulatory developments requiring necessary adaptions by the customer for security reason. The abovementioned circumstances, which have resulted in a quicker consumption of the contract, could not be foreseen by a diligent contracting authority at the time when Mini Competition 3 was launched (November 2020). As it is common knowledge, extraordinary events at the international level (e.g., the COVID 19 pandemics, the war in Ukraine, the current complex geopolitical context, and its consequences on economy) have produced unexpectedly high inflation rates.
