The crane fly fauna (Diptera, Tipuloidea) of the Balkans remains poorly known, despite recent faunistic and taxonomic research. Here, we present new faunistic data on Limoniidae and Tipulidae from the region. In total, 20 species are reported from Albania, 15 from Montenegro, seven from North Macedo
