Revised concept of the paederine rove beetle genus Lypeticus Sharp, 1886 with the genus Leiporaphes Bernhauer, 1912 as a synonym and three species new to science (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae)

We revise the Neotropical paederine genera Lypeticus Sharp, 1886 and Leiporaphes Bernhauer, 1912, the latter being a monotypic genus. Examination of the type material demonstrates that Leiporaphes is congeneric with Lypeticus and is therefore placed in synonymy with the latter, resulting in the new
