Flow in a channel with an abrupt change in area : finite element method
Steady flow with an incompressible non-viscous fluid in a two-dimensional channel with an abrupt change in the width of its flow passage has been studied with a finite element method and a complex potential method. The flow problem was solved with the use of an existing finite element program, FLOW2
