Contemporary scientific paradigms rest on an unexamined premise: that the world is fundamentally repeatable, that laws are universal, and that truth is eternal. Yet cross-scale observations—from quantum indeterminacy and thermodynamic irreversibility to biological individuality, AI dialogue variability, and civilizational path dependence—reveal a deeper principle: absolute repetition does not exist in physical reality. This paper proposes Three Axioms of Universal Evolution, a cross-domain meta-theoretical framework consisting of three fundamental axioms. Axiom I (Evolutionary Uniqueness): The evolutionary process and microscopic state of any system are absolutely unique and unrepeatable. Axiom II (Stability-Complexity Optimality): The universe maximizes evolutionary complexity and expression of uniqueness under the constraint of maintaining structural stability. Axiom III (Procedural Recapitulation): Any evolutionary system must completely recapitulate all prior stages contained in its source information—no skipping, no creation ex nihilo. We demonstrate that these three axioms form a self-consistent, falsifiable system with cross-disciplinary predictive power. The theory reveals that static structure (S-layer) is the tool for dynamic evolution (Dlayer) , that constraints are the prerequisite for complexity, and that historical recapitulation is the condition for innovation. This framework reorients science itself—not as the pursuit of eternal, repeatable truths, but as a human tool for navigating an inherently unique and evolving universe.
