Panopticum of 3D snake models
Motivated by the standard 2-dimensional 3-segment snake model, leading to the famous $(2,3,5)$ geometry, we discuss a series of 3-dimensional models of similar snakes. In particular, we seek for rules allowing to steer them exclusively by the two joints, which expects 4-dimensional control freedom.
