Applicability of the Praline Load Minimization Theory (PLMT) Objective Function to Medical Systems — A Next-Generation Treatment and Prevention Framework through Load Minimization and Relational Harmony —
This paper explores the potential application of the Praline Load Minimization Theory (PLMT) objective function, proposed by the author, to the medical field. PLMT is a general-purpose objective function that simultaneously aims to achieve load minimization and relational harmony, expressed in the form L = U + F + E. In this study, these three components are redefined in a medical context: U as biological load, F as psychological and relational load, and E as systemic load. Modern medicine faces multilayered burdens, including patients’ physical and psychological loads, overburdened healthcare workers, systemic inefficiencies, and treatment side effects. This paper reinterprets these burdens as “relational disruptions” and proposes a “re-harmonization” approach using PLMT. In cancer treatment, in particular, the perspective shifts from the conventional “aggressive elimination of foreign entities” paradigm to the “reconstruction of structural synchronization” between the immune system and cancer cells. By optimizing the load in the microenvironment, the approach promotes immune re-recognition and realizes a state of localized rest for the patient as a whole. Furthermore, implementing the PLMT objective function in AI enables integrated optimization based on load minimization across a wide range of areas, including drug development, personalized treatment design, patient care, and healthcare system operations. While keeping the core mathematical formulation of PLMT undisclosed for patent considerations, this paper presents its conceptual applicability and future prospects, outlining the direction of a next-generation medical framework.
