This paper demonstrates that the concepts of "liberal" and "conservative" are trite, arbitrary, and uncontrollable. They are by no means opposing concepts. Many people hold them as authorities due to the illusion that they are shared concepts. However, these concepts are used arbitrarily, have become established facts, and are now impossible to control. In liberalism, the absence of consideration for the concepts of freedom and community contributes to its lack of clarity. When academic institutions uphold such liberalism, academic freedom faces a crisis of restriction. Conservatism is based on the status quo, but that stance is not always appropriate. Both are influenced by postmodernism through superficial interpretations, and if these concepts are made into identities, they easily fall into authoritarianism. MAGA judges the damage to life caused by liberals as invalid. In many cases, the words "liberal" and "conservative" are inappropriate. Their use lacks logical thinking; in concrete matters, concrete words should be used. This contributes to mutual understanding and solving problem.
