In this work, using the algebraic Ricci soliton equation, we obtain the same classification. We show that, among ten classes of five-dimensional nilmanifolds, seven classes admit Ricci soliton structure. In any case, the derivation which satisfies the algebraic Ricci soliton equation is computed.
