philosophy
This paper proposes a way of engaging with mathematics based on the author’s personal cognitive style: perceiving phenomena as “inner videos” (dynamics) and capturing meaningful moments as formulas (snapshots). Using the foundational equation of Load Minimization Theory (LMT), L = U + F + E, the paper illustrates how this image-based approach minimizes cognitive load and transforms mathematics from a source of pain into a gentle, playful form of An-soku (inner peace). The discussion includes the author’s experiences with modern language arts and proof difficulties, along with practical suggestions for elementary education that prioritize pattern recognition and personal insight.
