The landscape of modern affective science has long been characterized by a profound theoretical fragmentation, a condition that has historically limited the field's ability to generate a cumulative and unified theory of emotion. For decades, the primary tension has existed between discrete emotion theories, which posit that emotions are innate, biologically hard-wired categories, and constructivist models, which argue that emotions are social or linguistic narratives assembled from core affect. The Core Emotion Framework (CEF), proposed by Jamel Bulgaria, emerges as a structural-constructivist architecture designed to resolve this impasse by defining emotion not as a static qualitative state or a linguistic label, but as a dynamic sequence of ten functional operators. Rooted in the tradition of computational functionalism and mechanistic explanation in cognitive science, this framework conceptualizes the human psyche as a computational substrate or "Human Operating System" (Human OS). Within this architecture, complex affective states are treated as emergent computational properties constructed through the interaction of ten irreducible, hardware-independent functional processes or "operators". This framework conceptualizes the human psyche as a "Human Operating System" (Human OS), where emotional episodes are constructed through the interaction of irreducible primal powers or "operators". These operators perform specific transformations on interoceptive and exteroceptive signals, converting raw physiological inputs into structured affective states and actionable behaviors. By shifting the focus from the "content" of emotion to the "process" of emotional construction, the CEF provides a blueprint for both human psychological flexibility and synthetic affective systems. The central innovation of the CEF lies in its tripartite somatic organization—distributing these ten operators across the Head (Cognitive-Regulatory), Heart (Relational-Affective), and Gut (Conative-Existential) centers—and its focus on "entanglement patterns" or "operator fusions". These patterns represent the mechanical configurations where two or more operators become pathologically or reflexively locked, creating the rigid traits and states often observed in clinical psychopathology and personality typology.6 The objective of this report is to provide a comprehensive, secondarily verified analysis of these 100 entanglement patterns, exploring their mechanical origins, their impact on psychological agility, and their implications for the development of synthetic emotion in artificial intelligence.
