The Crisis of Humanity: Why Civilization Rationally Chooses Self-Destruction

Humanity today faces ecological collapse, uncontrolled artificial intelligence, geopolitical conflict, and value nihilism simultaneously. This book advances a single thesis: these apparently independent catastrophes are not a "polycrisis" but multiple manifestations of one structural disorder — civilization's fundamental misplacement within the cosmic generative hierarchy. Employing a scientific-philosophical method and integrating systems science (entropy, negative feedback, dissipative structures) with the Lao–Yang Genesis Cosmology, it argues that modern civilization runs on a positive-feedback "operating system" centered on anthropocentric greed, and therefore accumulates high entropy systemically. Its deepest tragedy lies not in ignorance or error, but in the structural impossibility of any feasible self-rescuing path that does not conflict with existing civilizational logic — rendering self-destruction a rationally chosen, technologically accelerated outcome. The book diagnoses the transference of ignorance, the self-destruction of reason, the operating system of greed, the structural distortion of power, the misalignment of belief, and the collapse mechanics of high-entropy civilization; it then examines how AI, institutional decay, and the "Dark Forest" paradigm drive the crisis to its tipping point; and it concludes by returning to the cosmological roots, arguing that the only rational strategy is not to "save" civilization but to constrain and align it with cosmic law — the transition from human to Natural Civilization, from Artificial Intelligence to Artificial Wisdom (AW).
