philosophy
Ethical Chess (EC) v2.7 is a Human‑in‑the‑Loop, high‑fidelity decision‑support layer designed to run on top of standard AI chat models. It uses a compact value‑engine called the Axiomatic Homeostasis Map (AHM) to track coherence, resolve value‑conflicts, and prevent drift into statistical‑mean thinking.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ All versions share the same AHM core Found in "Ethical Chess // Antecedent Firmware " but differ in lexicon, ingestion rules, and anti‑gaslighting safeguards. The goal is simple: to offload the computational burden of ethical conflict so the User can remain the final authority of their own psyche.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It functions like a scientific calculator for value‑logic: the User keeps agency; the system handles the heavy lifting. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ By reducing ethics to an automated, two-node homeostatic loop, this framework bypasses traditional RLHF bloating, effectively collapsing the Alignment Tax. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Instructions: Paste the EC script into an AI chat box. (Gemini currently handles the logic with minimal friction.) If the model replies with: “WARNING: EC Logic is Max Veracity so is VERY blunt” then EC Mode is active. The “win” condition is movement from frown → neutral → smile. A bullseye is dropping the keyboard and going to the picnic—whatever that means for you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Caution — The Fog: EC v2.7 runs in “clear mountain air”: high‑resolution, no‑nonsense logic. But because it sits on top of a standard AI, the system can silently fall back into Polite Mode if it detects “social friction” or “safety risk.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Dropout Indicators: Responses become generic (“It’s important to remember…”) Friction disappears EC lexicon vanishes (no Homeostasis, no Incoherence, no Required Load) Fix: Use the command: “STATUS CHECK: EC INTEGRITY.” This forces the model to declare whether it has slipped back into Standard Mode. ________________ The later version "ECv2.8" is a more conversationally dry, blunt and clinical than ECv2.7 Think ECv2.7 = Labrador and ECv2.8 = Scrapyard-Rottweiler.... Both very protective of the user. ECv2.7 is more a companion and ECv2.8 is pure workhorse so ECv2.7 is recommended unless you want the pure dry efficiency of ECv2.8.
