BOOK II — DISTINCTION (The Unified Cosmology) 2nd Edition
Book II — Distinction develops the first articulation of Pure Being into the minimal structures that make manifestation possible. Beginning from the undivided ground established in Book I, this volume formalizes Distinction as the primordial act through which determinacy, difference, polarity, boundaries, and multiplicity arise. Through an axiomatic framework, it demonstrates how every form, relation, and structure presupposes Distinction as its enabling condition. The book further clarifies the transition from Pure Being to Manifest Being by showing how Distinction generates the Field of Relationality in which determinations coexist and interact. An expanded Scholium introduces a crucial insight for the symbolic cosmology: although Distinction articulates matter and time, these articulations remain unintelligible without perception. Only an interior perceiving ente can transform distinctions into symbolic meaning. Thus, Book II establishes Distinction as the foundational movement of articulation, while preparing the conceptual ground for Book IV on Perception and the later development of symbolic information.
