This paper examines the ivory tower as a derisive term for academic institutions that appear detached from the secular world. The establishment of the ivory tower is grounded in the harmful superficiality of the secular world. In particular, it squanders and maintains authority, such as the achievements of past greats and academics. This malfunctions academics and causes significant damage not only to scholars but also to society. Due to the ivory tower, there are many invalid arguments that ignore the secular world, such as goodness, ethics, justice, diversity, power gradients, and the majority. This stems from a disregard for logical thinking, which is the foundation of academics. First and foremost, it should be thoroughly enforced.
