Arab international university Description Computer crimes are Intelligent crimes committed in secret. The offender has a high level of technical expertise, and the main objective is to undermine the owners of the programs and information and their rights, whether natural or legal persons, and may extend to include the state and its secrets. The multiplicity of these crimes makes it difficult to detect, and pursue the offender, because they do not leave any trace behind. This makes it more difficult to prove and investigate. So what ease all these difficulties, is the emergence of digital evidence related to the scope of these crimes. Given that proving the infringement of intellectual property rights is a necessary requirement to get protection and as the computer represents a boost to the wheel of economic and social development in the countries, a lot of states became aware of the protection of the rights of persons who provided us with those techniques through materializing in computer programs and systems and others. In order to achieve this, states have adopted special means and appropriate to the nature of these crimes, including the digital evidence to prove, so as not to leave the perpetrators outside the scope of to justice.
