Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Zawodowa w Nowym Sączu Description W artykule podjęto rozważania na temat zasad przeprowadzania inwentaryzacji w publicznych jednostkach oświatowych. Jego celem jest przedstawienie uregulowań prawnych z zakresu przeprowadzania inwentaryzacji i rozliczania jej wyników z uwzględnieniem rozwiązań stosowanych w publicznych jednostkach oświatowych. W opracowaniu wykorzystano metodę analizy opisowej, której wynikiem jest zidentyfikowanie występujących w praktyce rozwiązań z zakresu inwentaryzacji w jednostkach oświatowych, potwierdzone wywiadami dokonanymi z pracownikami działów finansowo-księgowych wybranych jednostek oświatowych i analizą wniosków pokontrolnych Regionalnych Izb Obrachunkowych w zakresie gospodarki finansowej i rachunkowości. W artykule wskazano przede wszystkim te zasady przeprowadzania inwentaryzacji, które dotyczą metod i terminów przeprowadzania inwentaryzacji oraz sposobów rozliczania jej wyników. Abstract (English) The article discusses the principles of conducting inventory in public educational units. Its purpose is to present legal regulations in the scope of conducting inventory and accounting for its results, including solutions used in public educational units. The study uses a descriptive analysis method, which results in the identification of practical inventory solutions in educational units, confirmed by interviews with financial and accounting employees of selected educational units and the analysis of post-audit conclusions of the Regional chambers of audit in the field of financial management and accounting. The article first of all points out the principles of conducting the inventory, which concern the methods and dates of conducting the inventory and the methods of accounting for its results.
