It is important that these utilities are equipped with resources to help them address and reduce their cybersecurity risks. Through the Cybersecurity for the Water and Wastewater Sector project, the NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) has built and demonstrated secure remote access architectures for operational technology in the water and wastewater sector using commercially available technologies.
