Section, act June 25, 1948, ch. 646, 62 Stat. 935 , related to divisional venue in civil cases of a single defendant or defendants in different divisions. Statutory Notes and Related Subsidiaries Effective Date of Repeal Pub. L. 100–702, title X, § 1001(b) , Nov. 19, 1988 , 102 Stat. 4664 , provided that: “The amendments made by this section [repealing this section] take effect 90 days after the date of enactment of this Act [ Nov. 19, 1988 ].”
