L. 95–94, title I, § 105 , Aug. 5, 1977 , 91 Stat. 661 , provided for expenditure of $1,000 during any fiscal year to conduct orientation seminars for new Senators and their staffs, prior to repeal, effective July 1, 1979 , by Pub. L. 96–38, title I, § 107(b) , July 25, 1979 , 93 Stat. 113 .
