Statutory Notes and Related Subsidiaries Effective Date of Repeal Act Aug. 11, 1955, ch. 785, title I, § 112, 69 Stat. 662 , provided that: “This title [repealing this section and amending section 1141f of this title ] shall take effect on the first day of the month next following one hundred and twenty days after its enactment [ Aug. 11, 1955 ].”
