15 U.S.C. § 190 — Discussions in commercial reports of partisan questions

No part of the consular and other commercial reports of the Department of Commerce , including circular letters to chambers of commerce, discussing partisan political, religious, or moral questions shall be published. (Feb. 25, 1885, ch. 150, 23 Stat. 324 ; Feb. 14, 1903, ch. 552, § 10, 32 Stat. 829 ; Mar. 4, 1913, ch. 141, § 1, 37 Stat. 736 .) Statutory Notes and Related Subsidiaries Change of Name Act Mar. 4, 1913 , substituted “ Department of Commerce ” for “ Department of Commerce and Labor”. Transfer of Functions Act Feb. 14, 1903 , transferred Bureau of Statistics from Treasury Department to Department of Commerce and Labor.
