20 U.S.C. § 9601 — Definitions

In this subchapter: (1) In general The terms “ local educational agency ” and “ State educational agency ” have the meanings given those terms in section 7801 of this title . (2) Secretary The term “ Secretary ” means the Secretary of Education. ( Pub. L. 107–279, title II, § 202 , Nov. 5, 2002 , 116 Stat. 1975 ; Pub.
