30 U.S.C. § 1720 — Criminal penalties

Any person who commits an act for which a civil penalty is provided in section 1719(d) of this title shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than $50,000, or by imprisonment for not more than 2 years, or both. ( Pub. L. 97–451, title I, § 110 , Jan. 12, 1983 , 96 Stat. 2455 .)
