33 U.S.C. § 704 — Modification of project

The project for the control of floods in the Sacramento River, California, adopted by section 703 of this title , is modified in accordance with the report of the California Débris Commission submitted in Senate Document Numbered 23, Sixty-ninth Congress , first session: Provided, That the total amounts contributed by the Federal Government, including the amounts heretofore contributed by it, shall in no event exceed in the aggregate $17,600,000. (May 15, 1928, ch. 569, § 13, 45 Stat. 539 .)
