42 U.S.C. § 11317 — Definitions

For purposes of this subchapter: (1) The term “ Council ” means the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness established in section 11311 of this title . (2) The term “ Federal agency ” has the meaning given the term “agency” in section 551(1) of title 5 . ( Pub. L. 100–77, title II, § 207 , July 22, 1987 , 101 Stat. 489 ; Pub. L. 108–199, div. G, title II, § 216(4) , Jan. 23, 2004 , 118 Stat. 394 .) Editorial Notes Amendments 2004—Par. (1). Pub. L. 108–199 substituted “United States Interagency Council on Homelessness” for “Interagency Council on the Homeless” .
