42 U.S.C. § 8630 — Renewable fuels

In providing assistance pursuant to this subchapter, a State , or any other person with which the State makes arrangements to carry out the purposes of this subchapter, may purchase renewable fuels, including biomass. ( Pub. L. 97–35, title XXVI, § 2612 , as added Pub. L. 109–58, title I, § 121(b) , Aug. 8, 2005 , 119 Stat. 616 .) Statutory Notes and Related Subsidiaries Report to Congress Pub. L. 109–58, title I, § 121(c) , Aug. 8, 2005 , 119 Stat. 616 , provided that: “The Secretary [of Energy] shall report to Congress on the use of renewable fuels in providing assistance under the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Act of 1981 ( 42 U.S.C. 8621 et seq.).”
