42 U.S.C. § 8146 — Authorization of appropriations

There are authorized to be appropriated for carrying out the purposes of this subchapter not to exceed $5,000,000 for fiscal year 1979, and not to exceed $5,000,000 for fiscal year 1980. Any amounts appropriated under this section shall remain available until expended. ( Pub. L. 95–557, title VIII, § 807 , Oct. 31, 1978 , 92 Stat. 2124 ; Pub. L. 96–153, title I, § 108 , Dec. 21, 1979 , 93 Stat. 1105 .) Editorial Notes Amendments 1979— Pub. L. 96–153 reduced authorization of appropriation for fiscal year 1980 from “$10,000,000” to “$5,000,000”.
