(a) Reports to keep Congressional committees fully and currently informed The Administrator shall keep the appropriate committees of the House and the Senate fully and currently informed about all aspects of the environmental research and development activities of the Environmental Protection Agency . (b) Omitted ( Pub. L. 96–229, § 4 , Apr. 7, 1980 , 94 Stat. 328 .) Editorial Notes Codification Subsec. (b) of this section, which required the Administrator to annually make available to the appropriate committees of Congress sufficient copies of a report fully describing funds requested and the environmental research and development activities to be carried out with these funds, terminated, effective May 15, 2000 , pursuant to section 3003 of Pub. L. 104–66 , as amended, set out as a note under section 1113 of Title 31 , Money and Finance. See, also, item 24 on page 163 of House Document No. 103–7. Section was enacted as part of the Environmental Research, Development, and Demonstration Authorization Act of 1980, and not as part of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 which comprises this chapter.
