July 16, 1946 , 60 Stat. 1100 , set out in the Appendix to Title 5 , Government Organization and Employees, which abolished the office of land register and transferred its functions to the Secretary of the Interior. Section 366, act Oct. 9, 1942, ch. 584, § 2, 56 Stat. 779 , which related to registers at land offices at Anchorage, Nome, and Fairbanks, was subsequently repealed by Pub.
