Ziel ist die Entwicklung einer Schnittstelle, die die sichere Nutzung hardwaregestützter kryptographischer Schlüssel in den beiden Bibliotheken ermöglicht und damit nachhaltig zur Stärkung der Sicherheit und Vertrauenswürdigkeit offener digitaler Infrastrukturen im öffentlichen Interesse leistet. As part of a several milestones, new possibilities and concepts for the integration of smartcards and hardware security tokens are to be investigated on the basis of systematic analyses of existing functions, software architectures and specifications.
