The Tajikistan Municipal Infrastructure Development Project Management Unit, acting on behalf of the Committee for Housing and Communal Services, the project's implementing agency, has received financing from the World Bank for the Water Supply and Sanitation Investment Project ( WSIP -1). The additional financing ( AF ) provides for the expansion and modernization of water supply services in priority settlements in the Vakhsh, Vose , Balkhi , and Dusti districts, as well as support for the institutional development of the Committee for Housing and Communal Services. Part of the financing will be used to pay for contracts for the construction and modernization of water supply distribution networks.
The Project Management Center for the Development of Municipal Infrastructure in the Republic of Tajikistan now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following Lots:
Lot 1. Construction of water mains after NRR and distribution networks in the Balkhi region .
Lot 2. Expansion of the water supply system in 14 villages of the Vakhsh district (3D) - jamoat territory Tozhikobo d.
Lot 3. Expansion of the water supply system in the village of Kaduchi Vosesky district.
Bidding will be conducted through national competitive bidding using a Request for Bids ( RFB) as specified in the World Bank's Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated September 2025 (the "Procurement Regulations") and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Mr. Saidvalizoda A., Director of the Project Management Center for the Development of Municipal Infrastructure in the Republic of Tajikistan , at [email protected] and review the tender documentation during working hours from 09:00 to 16:00 as specified in paragraph 10 below .
Tender documentation in Russian The electronic version of the Agreement may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below free of charge.
Bids must be delivered to the address below no later than 3:00 p.m. local time on August 18, 2026 . Electronic bidding is not permitted. Bids submitted after the deadline and time will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of designated representatives of the Bidders and anyone else who chooses to attend at the address specified in paragraph 10 below on August 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM local time.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security Declaration.
Please note that the Procurement Rules require the Borrower to disclose the beneficial owner of the successful bidder in the Notice of Award using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form included in the bidding documents.
