Engineering Inspection Services
The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (The Customer) requires a Supplier provision of engineering inspections of its engineering plant and machinery at its Premises and Locations (The Services). The Customer's engineering plant and machinery must be inspected regularly to ensure it is safe and compliant with the latest regulatory requirements. The Services are a statutory requirement for relevant plant and machinery installations and are required on an annual basis to ensure the Customer: - Remains compliant with relevant regulations - Takes steps to mitigate regulatory action (E.g. fines) - Plant and machinery remains in good working order and keeps people safe by identifying machinery at risk of damage or defects. The Customer is therefore required to award a contract for the Services, including but are not limited to, lifts and lifting equipment and pressure system inspections The term of the contract is 36 months with the option to extend for a further 24 months.
