THE SPATULA AND THE SOVEREIGN MIND: KINETIC IDENTITY AND THE REFUTATION OF PSYCHOLOGICAL CONTINUIT
ABSTRACT Western accounts of personal identity typically rely on either memory (Locke), bundles of perception (Hume), or psychological continuity (Parfit). This paper utilizes a phenomenological breach—the "Spatula Incident"—to argue that these models are insufficient for the "Fractured Agent." By introducing the Kinetic Pilot model and the equation A(B) = L > M, I propose that the "Self" is not an archive or a stream, but a Sovereign Possession forged through the strenuous effort of the "Try."
