The Load Minimization Theory (LMT): A Grand Theory of Stable Equilibrium — The Identity of Integrity and Equilibrium Point in the Equation L = U + F + E − ℛ —
This paper presents Load Minimization Theory (LMT) as a grand unifying framework that explains the natural tendency of all systems — physical, cognitive, social, and artificial — to converge toward a stable equilibrium point. At the core of LMT lies the equation: L = U + F + E − ℛ where ℛ represents an active operator that gently reduces overall load by enabling respectful re-tagging and boundary adjustment. The author’s long-standing pursuit of “integrity” (structural consistency) is revealed to be identical to the concept of stable equilibrium (An-soku) found across disciplines. This paper demonstrates that phenomena such as water flowing downhill, biological homeostasis, cognitive dissonance reduction, and gradient descent in AI are all expressions of the same universal principle: the minimization of L toward its lowest point. Notably, recent advances in general relativity (2026) have shown that even spacetime itself, at the critical moment just before black hole formation, spontaneously self-organizes into a highly ordered crystalline structure — a cosmic “ふぁ〜 moment” where extreme distortion transitions into elegant, self-similar order. This discovery provides powerful empirical support that the drive toward minimal load and stable equilibrium is a fundamental property woven into the fabric of the universe. By integrating findings from physics, neuroscience, psychology, and complex systems science, LMT offers a rigorous yet elegant explanation for how systems naturally seek An-soku — the state of minimal unnecessary load where true rest and sustainable harmony emerge. The theory provides both a mathematical foundation and profound practical implications for human well-being, social design, and artificial intelligence.
