Structural Determination Quantum Theory
This paper constructs quantum theory self-containedly from the single axiom of Structural Determination Theory (SDT): reality consists of distinctly differentiated structure. The aim is to presuppose none of the usual postulates of quantum mechanics. The Hilbert space, the inner product, the complex number field, the Born rule, unitary evolution, and measurement reduction are here derived or reconstructed from the axiom and its decision mechanism rather than assumed. The complex structure i = J is forced by the polar decomposition of the directed order generator; the real and quaternionic alternatives are excluded without a local-tomography axiom; the Born rule is obtained from the two-valuedness and non-ordering of admissibility rather than by borrowing the principle of indifference; and unitarity follows from the self-adjointness of the generator. On this base the paper treats the quantum ontology (superposition, entanglement, Bell-inequality violation, Kochen-Specker contextuality, no-cloning), gauge structure and the spin-statistics correlation, geometry as a quantum object together with the gravity-sector interface, internal consistency (probability and information conservation, ultraviolet finiteness, and a dissolution of the black-hole information paradox that decouples information conservation from unitarity), the arrow of time and the dimension question, and the relativistic and field-theoretic limit conditional on a continuum-limit posit. A structural representation theorem, together with a comparison with the operational reconstruction programmes (Hardy; Chiribella-D'Ariano-Perinotti), delimits what is reachable. Throughout, the framework derives structural forms and marks numerical values as entity-theoretic, yielding falsifiable predictions including an even-order Lorentz-violation dispersion that forbids any linear term.
