philosophy
Philosophy begins too late because it seeks closure too early. It takes a late comfort and names it primitive. It takes a stabilization and names it origin. The miss comes earlier. Binding is the death of informality into form. The first pressure by which life becomes lived. From Binding follows a simple consequence. Life is first future-bound. It is formed by what still claims it. By what still costs. By what still must be faced. Closure is the forcing of future-bound life into past-bound readability. It does not simply hide claim. It converts claim into readability. It turns steering into reading. Claim into archive. Cost into explanation. Past-bound life is life reduced to what can already be read, explained, inherited and repeated. Bearing is the refusal to convert future-bound cost into past-bound comfort. Future-creation is creation without blankness. It is steering under Binding toward what must be formed next. Philosophy has too often mistaken late comfort for first truth. What it has called primitive has usually been Closure.
