The philosophy of superdeterminism is based on a single scientific fact about the universe, namely that cause and effect (and probabilistic causation) in physics are not real. In 2020, accomplished Swedish theoretical physicist, Dr. Johan Hansson proved by applying Albert Einstein’s Theory of Special Relativity to what has already been scientifically verified about spin measurement correlations observed in entangled particle pairs that cause and effect (and probabilistic causation) in physics are not real. A recent experiment performed at the European X-Ray Free-Electron Laser Facility (XFEL) indicates that a pre-existing actual real random quantum state impacts a measurement contrary to the Copenhagen Interpretation of quantum mechanics. The scientific conclusion that Ground State Fluctuations (“GSFs”) are a real and pre-existing property of a molecule implies that an actual quantum reality, probabilistic in nature, must exist before the act of measurement. This presents a direct experimental challenge to the notion that observation creates a definite state from a superposition of possibilities under the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics. Consequently, one should not rely on the supposed instantaneous collapse of the wave function to attempt to explain the non-local correlations observed in quantum entangled particles. Such spooky action at a distance cannot be explained by a local causal mechanism due to speed of light limitations. This leaves only the superdeterministic explanation that the inherently random perturbations of the molecule over time must simply exist as they appear and are uncovered by measurement or observation in a predetermined static block universe without cause and effect (and probabilistic causation) in physics. The recent European XFEL experiment just gave a huge verified scientific boost to the truth of Dr. Hansson’s version of superdeterminism upon which the philosophy of superdeterminism is based.
