This paper presents a pragmatic, functional response to contemporary structural inquiries regarding the architecture of human-AI cognitive collaboration. While current literature extensively explores the philosophical implications of the Extended Mind Thesis within cloud-integrated computing, this work addresses the practical vulnerabilities inherent in continuous network dependency, namely context degradation, session volatility, and data-stewardship friction. Moving from abstract theory to physical verification, I present my definitive implementation: the public release of the CephalopodAI Local Workspace Terminal (V2.0). By deploying a localized, toolserver-driven interface configured for independent hardware and local model weights (Gemma 4:e2b), I provide an empirical proof-of-concept demonstrating that cognitive scaffolding can achieve high-integrity stability entirely within the user's immediate physical domain. This technology is released openly and entirely for free on GitHub across multiple accessible file formats to establish a reproducible benchmark for localized human-AI state preservation.
