Motion Without Motion

What if motion is not what we think it is? This essay proposes a radical yet conceptually grounded reinterpretation of motion and inertia. Motion is not a simple passage through pre-existing space; it is a dynamic expression of spacetime itself. Inertia is not an external resistance, but the energetic boundary of a system, a subtle whisper from the universe that a system is reaching its limit. Drawing on general relativity, cosmology, and epistemology, I argue that distance, duration, and motion are not fundamental givens but emergent relational structures, constrained by energy, geometry, and the logic of consistent observation. This essay does not offer new empirical predictions; it challenges how we think about the very fabric of motion.
