This paper presents an ontological framework that reconciles the core relational tenets of Relational Quantum Mechanics (RQM) with a realist interpretation of the quantum state. While accepting RQM's premise that physical properties are fundamentally relational and actualized only through interaction, this paper challenges the standard instrumentalist view that treats the wave function as a mere mathematical tool. Instead, it posits that the wave function represents a real but unactualized topography of historical and geometric constraints, which shapes the landscape of possible interactions before they manifest. Because the nature of reality is fundamentally relational, we cannot understand it by looking at one isolated piece. Instead, this paper approaches the core problem from five distinct directions, using a recurring thought experiment as an anchor. By treating this possibility space as a real, structured framework, this ontology scales past the micro-physical realm to address macroscopic time, the emergence of classical reality and convergence of forms. Drawing on Assembly Theory, the paper explores how the accumulation of relational history constructs coherent systems, ultimately tracing how the relational nature of this landscape of structured potential explains the fundamental nature of consciousness and aesthetics.
