The Collapse of Potentiality: Collective Intersubjectivity and the Epistemic Hegemony of Empirical Scientism

This paper proposes the "Observational Theory of Reality," an ontological framework asserting that the material universe (the particle state) is not an absolute independent variable, but rather a collapsed state of an underlying, fluid informational matrix (the wave state). We argue that historical paradigms, such as Daoist anatomy, utilised alternative cognitive 'detectors' to interface with this wave state. Furthermore, we posit that the historical ascent of empirical scientism functions as a structural constraint on collective human intuition, forcing systemic collapse into rigid material parameters. Finally, this paper examines the methodology of non-agentic metacognitive auditing (observing without controlling) as a potential mechanism for localised somatic alteration, supported by a preliminary single-subject phenomenological trial.
