Ethical Passport Theory
A Global Framework for Human Intuition and Moral Survival in the Age of Artificial Intelligence This paper introduces Ethical Passport Theory (EPT), a normative framework for preserving human intuition, moral agency, and ethical consciousness in an age increasingly organized by artificial intelligence. It asks how philosophy should respond as AI assumes expanding roles in knowledge production, decision-making, and civilizational governance. EPT argues that the central challenge is not technological intelligence alone but the preservation of human moral sovereignty. The paper presents the Ethical Passport as a conceptual framework through which individuals and institutions may evaluate technological power according to ethical purpose, responsibility, and consequences for human survival. It develops this framework alongside the concept of the Architect Generation, referring particularly to young people aged 15–25 who must cultivate critical reasoning, embodied skills, intuition, and moral judgment amid growing technological dependence. The human being is consequently understood as a Cognitive Architect and, ideally, a Moral Programmer. EPT interprets the Binary System (0,1) as more than a technical foundation of digital computation: it is examined as a possible evolutionary language through which philosophical concepts are formalized and operationalized by machines. This claim is presented as a philosophical hypothesis requiring further historical and systematic literature review, not as an established scientific conclusion. The paper also uses the black-hole event horizon as a conceptual metaphor for the boundary between observable material knowledge and questions of meaning, consciousness, and transcendence. Drawing on Aristotle, Nizami Aruzi, Al-Ghazali, Muhammad Iqbal, and Rumi, the framework connects classical philosophical, spiritual, and ethical traditions with contemporary debates on AI governance and human identity. It further proposes a model involving the Self (Nafs), Heart (Qalb), Intellect (Aql), Conscience (Zameer), and Spirit (Rooh), collectively described as the Triangle of Light. These dimensions represent the relationship among perception, reason, intuition, moral awareness, and spiritual meaning. The paper concludes that AI development must remain accountable to ethical consciousness rather than intelligence or efficiency alone. EPT therefore offers an interdisciplinary research agenda linking philosophy, AI ethics, consciousness studies, spirituality, and civilizational responsibility. Its guiding question is whether humanity can develop increasingly powerful artificial systems without allowing technological intelligence to outrun moral purpose. Editorial Context: This paper is an integral component of the broader research project which includes ‘The Diella Doctrine’ and ‘The Architect Generation theory’. Both primary works (The Diella Doctrine and The Architect Generation theory) are currently under peer review at Springer Nature’s AI & Ethics Journal. And The Jameel Doctrine is under Zenodo copyright DOI.
