How can ethical coherence be sustained when established frameworks prove too rigid for shifting conditions? This article introduces the tuner subject as a set of diagnostic capacities that complement the Cosmic Attunement Core (CAC). The CAC specifies structural registers of resonance but leaves open how they are enacted in practice. The tuner subject clarifies this enactment by articulating three capacities—attentive, adaptive, and integral—that sustain coherence through distributed enactment. Rather than prescribing fixed rules, it offers orienting guidance without imposing predetermined solutions. Mapping the cross-cutting relations between these capacities and the CAC’s registers highlights their complementarity and shows how registers and practices work together. The implications are developed through dialogue with care, virtue, and environmental ethics, and through illustrative applications in AI, climate governance, and education. The study concludes that the tuner subject provides applied philosophy with these capacities—attentive to weak signals, adaptive to shifting relations, and integral in projecting responsibility across generations—offering a conceptual vocabulary rigorous enough to guide reflection while remaining responsive to lived contexts.
