The Earth Is the Mother of Humanity and All Living Beings
From the perspectives of philosophy, ecology, and cosmology, this essay systematically elaborates the proposition that “the Earth is the mother of humanity and all living beings.” By comparing the Cartesian mechanistic worldview with the “Lao-Yang Genesis Cosmology,” which reflects a Dao-centered holistic cosmology, it repositions the Earth as not just the stage of life but as the embodiment of Dao—a source of living interconnectedness. It argues that only by awakening from the modern illusion of “conquering nature” and returning to the Dao of Heaven and Earth can human civilization move toward true sustainability and harmony.
