(Poster) Emotion-Cognition Interaction: Humans & AI
The role of emotions in problem solving is a relatively neglected area of research in artificial intelligence. While there is no consensus view on what, exactly an emotion is, that hasn't stoped us from researching them. These assumptions about them, however, influence the way we approach that research in psychology, neuroscience and artificial intelligence. This presentation summarizes current views of emotion alongside a comparative analysis of human cognition against artificial intelligence.
