Communicating Across Civilizational Scales: Hypothetical Contact Between Type V Intelligence and Humanity
Abstract This paper explores the hypothetical possibility of communication between a Type V civilization — an extrapolated tier beyond the Kardashev scale — and human civilization. We examine the cognitive, technological, and ethical gaps such communication would entail, discuss the feasibility of such interaction through advanced interface systems, and provide a fictional scenario to illustrate the concept. The discussion is anchored in current theoretical frameworks on extraterrestrial intelligence, interspecies communication, and cosmic evolution.
