美术死后怎样:亚文性与艺术事件的元语法
”When Art Fails to Be Fine: Arvincing, the Grammar of Art“ develops an event-based grammar for art across cultures and media. It provides a shared descriptive interface through which artistic judgments from different media, disciplines, cultures, and critical traditions can be located, compared, and translated, while offering new ways to approach questions such as the ontology of games and the changing relation between artificial intelligence and human creation. Taking the gelimp (event) as its basic unit, the book introduces concepts including “Arvincing”, “Arvincing Experience”, and “Artisity,” attempting to mediate two long-standing tensions: between aesthetic and institutional accounts of art, and between realist and idealist accounts of aesthetics. Taking the comparatively well-developed field of Western art history as a point of entry, the book proposes a narrative of three “crises of art,” from which it develops the Eight Modes of Arvincing and the Ten Arts taxonomy. The analytical tools developed through this account extend beyond Western art history, offering a foundation for more global and decolonial histories of art that no longer take the West as their default center. The book closes with Marina Abramović’s Rhythm Series and Minecraft as two cases at radically different scales, stress-testing the system and demonstrating the grammar’s practical analytical range.
