What would it take to build a moral system that remains true when everyone rejects it, gives even an informed dissenter reason to comply, survives disagreement, and guides real decisions without smuggling its answer into the premises? The Objective Morality Project turns that question into an intellectual expedition. Beginning with a blank constitution, the reader constructs a Candidate System piece by piece: standing, values, verdicts, rules, reasons, comparison methods, evidence, responsibility, and revision. Thought experiments and pressure cases expose the price of each repair. Consequences, duties, virtue, care, sacred order, fair construction, local standards, and hybrid approaches receive their strongest hearing. The result is skeptical but not nihilistic. No candidate examined earns the full objective specification, and the book carefully explains why this is not a proof that every logically possible moral fact is impossible. Pain, attachment, agency, evidence, promises, institutions, criticism, and hope remain. The final movement replaces abstract compromise among moral systems with a practical method that begins from affected lives and common or mutually legible emotions and values, then moves through factual inquiry, explicit tradeoffs, safeguards, review, dissent, and repair. Six appendices make the method reusable, including a nineteen-stage construction workbook, forty-five pressure cases, a repair guide, and a complete Civic Stakes Brief.
