This paper introduces Λ–Ψ, a formal framework that quantifies meaning as a dimensionless ratio of generative surplus to entropic collapse. The framework integrates constructs of intent, skill, control, and emotional load into a bounded index (Ψ), mathematically consistent with entropy and complexity theory. Unlike speculative metaphysics, Λ–Ψ defines measurable scaffolding, while openly acknowledging that empirical tools for calibration remain under development. The framework’s novelty lies in its recursive anti-fragility: every critique, dismissal, or rediscovery generates surplus, sharpening the system rather than dismantling it. Thus Λ–Ψ functions simultaneously as a provisional scientific law-in-waiting and a philosophical model of meaning-making, bridging the empirical and the paradoxical. It is offered in raw form, not as a finished doctrine, but as a seed: a framework that survives by being stress-tested, fractured, and rediscovered across contexts.
